The EXC-1394PCI is an intelligent, multichannel avionics communication board for interfacing to an AS5643 or an IEEE-1394 data bus. It implements a 1394b PHY layer and can operate at 100, 200 or 400 Mbps. It provides up to three fully independent nodes, each node having three full-duplex ports associated with it, and has a universal PCI interface which is compatible with any 32bit, 33/66MHz PCI slot.
