The EXC-1553ccVME/Pxis a multi-channel (up to 16) intelligent, MIL-STD-1553 interface board for ccVME systems. The EXC-1553ccVME/Pxprovides a complete solution for developing and testing 1553 interfaces and performing system simulation of the MIL-STD-1553 bus. The board handles all standard variations of the MIL-STD-1553 protocol. Each channel of the EXC-1553ccVME/Pxcontains 64K bytes of true dual-port RAMfor Data Blocks, Control registers, and Look-up Tables. All Data Blocks and Control registers are memory mapped, and may be accessed in real time.Each of the independent dual redundant EXC-1553ccVME/Px channels may be programmed to operate in one of three modes of operation: Remote Terminal (up to 32 RTs), Bus Controller/Concurrent-RT, and Bus Monitor. Each channel also provides a Concurrent Monitor in RT and BC modes, and on-board loopback capability (Bus A to Bus B) for a complete built-in test.The EXC-1553ccVME/Pxcomes complete with Windows software for NI-VISA systems, a C-driver software library including source code for Windows and VxWorks, and has an extended temperature range of -40° to +85°C.
